Who can become a member?

Membership is open to all registered medical or paramedical practitioner providing that his/her specialist practice is either confined to the speciality of Cardiothoracic Surgery, or his/her practice is such as to give him/her a special interest in the subject of Cardiothoracic Surgery.

It is with great sadness that we learn of the tragic passing of our colleague, Dr Curnick Siyabonga Mahlangu, taken in the prime of his life, together with Dr Kgopotso Rudolph Mononyane, Sister Mpho Xaba, Sinjin Joshua Farrance and Mark Stoxreiter.  Our heartfelt condolences go out to their families, friends and colleagues.
